ENTPROMED Aluminum STINGRAY External Nasal Splint- Kits are used for a perfect fixation and protection. It's typically custom-made to fit the contours of an individual's nose and is designed to provide support and protection to the nasal bones during the healing process. ENTPROMED Aluminum STINGRAY External Nasal Splint is usually composed of lightweight aluminum, which can be easily shaped to conform to the specific anatomy of the nose. It's applied externally. The primary purpose of the splint is to maintain the proper alignment of the nasal bones and cartilage while they heal, helping to prevent deformities and promote optimal aesthetic and functional outcomes.

Stingray External Nasal Splint Application Preparation Steps 1. Clean the application area: Thoroughly clean the cheek area where the splint will be applied using an alcohol wipe. 2. Apply the Dorsal Pad (if needed): If necessary, attach the thin sponge "Dorsal Pad" to the central bridge of the nose to soften any potential impacts. Application Steps 3. Shape the splint: Manually shape the splint so that it fits the nose perfectly but without squeezing it. 4. Remove the backing paper: Peel off the backing papers from the adhesive sections on the left and right wings of the splint. 5. Apply the splint: Place the splint on the nose and gently rub the wings onto the upper cheek areas to secure the adhesion completely. Care and Removal 6. Keep it on for the recommended time: Keep the splint on the nose for the duration advised by your doctor (usually 2–5 days). This protects the nose against external impacts and swelling (edema).
